Nuba Mountain Language Studies: Contemporary Perspectives
Synopse
The preparation of the new volume on the languages of the Nuba Mountains (Sudan) was overshadowed by the internal Sudanese war that broke out in April 2023, shortly after the fourth conference on Nuba Mountain languages had taken place in Khartoum. Nevertheless, a number of researchers succeeded in producing valuable contributions on selected languages and linguistic communities of the Nuba Mountains. All contributions were double-checked so that an international standard could be implemented.
